I think it has to be like other habits, creating time & sticking to it.

I haven't been doing much reading, I'm not concentrating long enough.

I think I can manage a few pages of my Emily Dickinson book, though.

Yeah I think I am just not dedicated to reading a book. I much rather do other things like work on various aspects of Gab A Ton, play Minecraft with my brother in law and or my wife, or frankly, anything else. It isn't like I don't enjoy reading books when I do it is just a bit low on the priority list lol

@Gryphaena you're not wrong but usually what happens to me is I will be reading and not realize that I am zoning and the pages will flip or the book will close lol

Hmm, maybe you need briefer books.

I've switched to an Emily Dickinson poetry book in the hopes that her brevity will help my subpar concentration.

Perhaps, but I have gotten into reading some pretty good novel's but when I get comfy and it's kinda later at night is when it tends to be problematic :p
